What a lovely clean well looked after hotel. Staff were so nice and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect. We normally stay at a different hotel when visiting Bristol. But will be only booking to stay here whenever we visit Bristol in future. Great secure parking next door and prices were very reasonable.

I enjoyed my stay overall at the hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious, the shower was great, and there were facilities in the room to make a tea in the morning before I checked out. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, and a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping district in the city centre. One downside was soundproofing of the rooms. There were a few other people (a family with young children) staying in the adjacent rooms were talking loudly in the corridor, and going between each other’s rooms, between 10.15pm and 11pm or so. And, each time their doors shut, it was pretty loud. This stopped me getting to sleep, and I had to wake up early on the Sunday morning to travel home - so not ideal. Another downside was the lifts. When I returned to my room on Saturday night, only one lift seemed to be operating. I had to wait a while, and my room was fairly high up, so stairs weren’t an option. On the morning of check out, there was a wait for the lift then too - by the time it reached the terrace floor, it was pretty full. I get that it gets busier in the morning due to breakfast, but it would have been ideal if the lifts were more frequent. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

Room was perfect very clean and well presented, mattress was VERY firm but once we got used to it, it was fine. The pillows were divine. The view was also lovely. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful Only thing is I was not completely impressed with was the bar, very expensive and the menu was almost obsolete as they had nothing I ordered from it. I gave up on my 3rd request and just ordered a standard spirit and lemonade, the barman did double it up for me for the inconvenience which was very kind, so it was still a good experience

Really enjoyed my stay here - the room was large and beds comfy, shower great and we even had a nice view over Castle Park. The breakfast was also excellent, if busy. The location is great too. Would definitely stay again.

This is a review of the Bristol Hi-fi show taking place there. Convenient location for public transport and carpark nextdoor. Works ok as a venue as the smaller rooms equate to standard listening rooms reasonably well and bring all the associated acoustic challenges. Only spotted the restaurant too late to try but bar available albeit nearly £8 a pint and simple rolls and hotdogs. Queuing outside could have been better organised from the start.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel! Its location was perfect! Located in the centre of Bristol, you find yourself just steps away from landmarks, public transport, and more. The room was rather nice and spacious. It was considerably quiet considering the location. The hotel has many amenities including a gym and a several conference rooms. Staff were extremely friendly and attended to our every need! Price was extremely reasonable considering its central location. Breakfast was also good.

This is my second stay here The location is great, the staff is absolutely wonderful. My only complaint is the bed. Last time I was here the beds were comfy, this time they are not. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I'm in Bristol, and I am hopeful the comfy beds will make a comeback.
